WASHINGTON, DC – Republican Rep. Paul Gosar recently introduced a concurrent resolution to the House seeking to have Dr. Anthony Fauci subpoenaed regarding alleged “corrupt activities” surrounding COVID and have his salary reduced to zero dollars.
Rep. Gosar introduced House Concurrent Resolution 71 on February 8th, outlining “that Congress should issue a subpoena to Dr. Anthony Fauci and reduce the salary of the Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and Chief Medical Advisor to the President.”
According to the submitted concurrent resolution, the following specifics were detailed regarding the matter:
“(1) Congress should issue a subpoena to Dr. Anthony Fauci with the intent of investigating
“(A) the extent of any corrupt activities to which he may be a party with respect to the COVID–19 pandemic; and
“(B) the deception, misinformation, and numerous lies reported to Congress and the American People throughout the COVID–19 pandemic; and
“(2) the Speaker of the House of Representatives should reinstate the Holman Rule and provide expeditious consideration of legislation that reduces the salary of the Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and Chief Medical Advisor to the President (Dr. Anthony Fauci) to $0.00.”
In a February 9th press release from Rep. Gosar, the Arizona congressman alleged that “Fauci has repeatedly lied to Congress and the American people throughout the entire COVID-19 pandemic,” highlighting times Fauci has testified before the Senate claiming he’d had no part in “gain of function research” despite “a report by Project Veritas proves that Dr. Fauci did, in fact, fund research in Wuhan, China and at several sites across the United States.”
